Thanks to our state-of-the-art methodology, specialized program design for the modern entrepreneur and business leader, as well as the high level of each of our facilitators, today we are recognized by various international institutions dedicated to quality assessment and certification of business schools in the world.

We have been Active Members of the Latin American Council of Management Schools CLADEA, the European Foundation for Management Development EFMD and the International Accreditation Council for Business Education IACBE.

GAIA Business School is pleased to announce the completion and approval of our evaluation process and International Accreditation by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education IACBE. On Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the IACBE Council meeting held in Kansas, USA, GAIA Business School’s BBA and MBA programs were officially accepted and accredited, after having satisfactorily demonstrated the quality of these programs.

Our accreditation process with IACBE was of great professional enrichment for our entire team and for each of our collaborators who were part of this process and that today we have achieved. This great achievement is not only for GAIA Business School, but for each one of our collaborators, facilitators, alumni, students and for each one of the people who will be part of the GAIA World in the future, having the guarantee and support of our international accreditation, as a reference to the educational quality that we provide to each one of our students.

Being only two educational institutions of management level in the entire Republic of Guatemala that have such accreditation, an arduous work that began more than 3 years ago, with the guidance and firm direction of our Dr. José Manuel

Carbonell; who guided us for more than 10 years, not only in the accreditation process, but in our daily mission and vision of changing the world through education. Today we receive this news with great enthusiasm and with the promise to continue our work in Guatemala, our home, as well as in each of the more than 8 countries in 3 continents where we are represented. Today we would like to extend this communiqué in gratitude for his tireless work every day and that, together with the work and contribution of each of our partners, friends and collaborators, today positions us in the first place of business and management education in Guatemala and number 7 in Latin America. Thank you very much Dr. José Manuel Carbonell, this achievement for Guatemala is a tribute to your guidance, dedication and values that accompany us daily in our family!

Accreditation is a quality assurance process in which a higher education institution or a unit within the institution voluntarily submits to an external audit to evaluate the quality of its academic programs. IACBE performs such evaluation, both of the proposed academic programs and of the teaching-learning process and finally gives a favorable result if the programs comply with all the norms and requirements according to its quality standards.

IACBE accreditation is a means by which students, the business community and partners of GAIA Business School are assured that we comply with high principles of excellence and that we follow good practices in management and business education.

IACBE promotes and recognizes excellence in business education in institutions around the world, today we join 230 institutions in more than 20 countries that, like us, promote excellence, contribute, contribute and are agents of change in their region. We are very proud to put Guatemala on the map and guarantee our community a world-class education.

Our programs are recognized and accepted anywhere in the world* through this international accreditation, endorsed by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation CHEA, an association that accredits more than 3,000 universities and institutions in academic quality; this council currently recognizes 60 institutions and programs in the United States alone.
